Wine has been a staple accompaniment with several European cuisines since ancient times. Even today people often indulge in their wine cravings in the name of health. It makes one wonder if wine really is that healthy. And if so, how much wine is considered to be healthy.
After reviewing several researches, we found a number of health benefits of drinking wine. These benefits include:

However, it is important to draw the line between healthy wine consumption and binge drinking. The 2005 Dietary Guidelines recommends two drinks (5 ounces makes a drink) a day for men and one drink a day for women. To reap all these health benefits of wine, one has to drink in moderation, overindulgence can have quite the opposite effect raising up several health conditions.
