If you haven’t taken your breast health seriously, here are a few simple habits to follow that will ensure your breasts remain healthy.

Wear the right size bra
Studies show that eight out of ten women wear the wrong size bra and don’t even realise it. Wearing an ill-fitting bra will not only make you feel uncomfortable but can also cause problems like shoulder, arm or back pain.
Did you know that your bra size changes all the time? Every time you lose or put on weight, your bra size changes. Make sure you regular check your bra size and opt for the right fitting one.
Regular self breast-exams
Any doctor will tell you that the best way to diagnose breast cancer at the earliest is to conduct regular self breast exams. There are no symptoms of breast cancer other than finding a lump in your breast. Every woman must conduct a self exam at least once a month. The best time to do this would be in the shower so that the soap can help your hands glide easily over your skin and if there is a lump you can feel it quickly. The faster you find it, the easier is the treatment.

Applying SPF to your breasts
We can all admit that the idea of applying SPF to our breasts doesn’t come to us easily. But think about it, when you go out in the sun, you apply SPF to other parts of your body that are exposed to the sun, then why skip the breasts? Remember to use a sunscreen on the part of your breast that is exposed to the sun, if you don’t want to risk that part of your body to skin cancer
Do not shave hair on your nipples
