Want to make your eyes really stand out? Our eyes are one of the most important of our facial features. With just our eyes, we can communicate with others, let people know our emotions and create a whole new look. However, sometimes our eyes need a little help to be noticed. Here are tips:
1. Get some sleep
If you lack sleep, your eyes will be puffy, red and sore. You may hav shadows, ring, or bags underneath them. To stop this happening, you need giving yourself at least 7 hour of sleep each night. If you have sleep issues, consider buying a new matttress, changing pllow or altering your sleeping position.
2. Curl Your Eyelashes.
Limp, plain eyelashes can be transformed into gorgeous frames for your eyes by simply curling them. To curl your eyelashes, grab an eyelash curler. Place your upper lashes in the mouth of the curler, making sure the mouth is parallel to your lashes. Move the curler closer to your eye until it’s at the base of your eyelashes. Keeping your eye open, slowly close the curler. Hold it like this for about five seconds, and repeat for even more volume.
3. Wear mascara.
Mascara will help thicken your lashes and frame your eyes. You can use a clear or black mascara-it’s up to you. When applying mascara, hold the wand just below your upper eyelashes and look upwards. Then blink slowly, letting the wand stroke mascara onto your eyelashes. This is the method beauty stylists use, and it ensure longer, more volumized eyelashes. If you’re applying more than one coat, wait a little before you do. Try not to apply mascara to your bottom lashes, as it can smudge easily. Make sure your mascara is water proof, we don’t want it running!
4. Use eyeliner.
Eyeliner is one of the best ways to make your eyes stand out. Brown eyeliner creates a more subtle, sophisticated look, while black draws attention and create various looks. When applying eyeliner, sweep a line just above the upper lashes, and then carefully line the rim of the lower eye. A thick but subtle coating of eyeliner give eyes a dramatic look. If you want, you can smudge the eyeliner a little to create a smoky eyed look. Use heavy black, but not TOO much, then apply slow shades of glitter, not a lot. If you are looking to make your eyes appear larger, first line the bottom inside rim with a white liner, followed by a light application of a brown or soft black liner on the outside, just under your lower lash line. These steps help to create the illusion of a larger eye, just be careful not to over do it, as the goal is to keep it as natural looking as possible.
5. Add eyeshadow.
Eyeshadow is the perfect finishing touch to dramatic, attention drawing eyes. If you’re feeling daring, go with brighter colours, but be careful not to clash with your skin tone. Glitter eyeshadow is also great for a party look. If you’re just out and about or want a quieter look, try some subtler shades that go with your skin tone, like light pinks and bronzes. Sweep a coating of eyeshadow gently from your lashes to the brows, starting at the eyes. You can apply numerous coats-first a base coat, similar to your skin tone, next a light white shadow, shimmering or matte, and finally a dark shadow. Experiment to see what looks you can come up with.
