The Do’s of Summer Skin

Do apply and reapply at least an SPF 30 or higher sunscreen before you leave the house and every 90 minutes after outdoor activities.

Do prevent and reverse summer sun damage with Clear+Brilliant Permea that uses a fractional laser plus SkinCeuticals CE Ferrulic Antioxidant to even skin color and prevent future damage.

Do wear sun protective clothing! Sun protection isn’t just about sunscreen, light weight clothes with UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) offer a safe and stylish way to protect the skin. Check out for options.

The Don’ts of Summer Skin

Don’t think that because it’s cloudy you won’t burn and can skip the sunscreen. 80 percent of the sun’s rays penetrate through the clouds and can lead to a burn.

Don’t overdo it on the cocktails. Careful with the margaritas! Studies show that the more one drinks, the more likely they are to burn. (Usually from falling asleep in the sun or forgetting to reapply sunscreen.)

Don’t pre-tan in a tanning bed. Every tanning bed use increases one’s chance of developing melanoma, the deadly form of skin cancer that kills 1 person per hour.
