Begin slow and then speed up gradually
Beginning off at a high speed can cause injuries. One should always begin a treadmill workout at a lower speed and then speed up gradually. Even if you plan to run on the treadmill, ensure you begin at a slower pace and then head to the fast paced strides.
Maintain the right posture
It is also important to maintain the right posture when you use the treadmill. Ensure your back remains straight and that you don’t hunch while walking or running.
