This list of new beauty trends is wonderfully diverse — with looks ranging from simple and classic, to bold and contemporary. Whether you’re a laidback bride, or a fashionista who loves thinking outside of the box, you’re sure to find a summer beauty trend here that works for you.

Tousled Waves
Good news for laidback brides: Fuss-free, mermaid waves are one of spring’s biggest trends. The more tousled, the better. This look is perfect for a beach wedding.

Orange Lipstick
Orange seemed to be the “it” colour of the season with designers like Donna Karan and Christian Siriano using various tangerine hues on their models. This look is for the bride that doesn’t shy away from attention-grabbing colours. A pumpkin tinted lip stain would work perfectly for a rustic or vintage themed wedding.

Embellished White Nails
Crisp, clean, classic white nails are definitely hot right now since celebs like Kim Kardashian and Beyonce have been spotted rocking white tips. Take this look up a notch by embellishing your claws with Swarovski crystals or metallic tips.

Blue Shadow and Eye Liner
From azul to aqua and teal and navy, blue hues were spotted all over runways from New York to Paris. If you’re a fashion-forward bride with no problem taking risks, try using blue shades instead of black for your smokey eye, or opt for a navy liquid eyeliner.

Sheer Shadow
Iridescent white and pastel hues were a hit on Burberry and Dolce and Gabbana’s Spring/Summer runways. Find out which pastel shade will best bring out your eye colour and add some subtle definition under the brow line with some white shadow. This look is perfect for the girly, princess bride.

Long and Straight
Straight, fuss-free hair was seen at Ralph Lauren, Miu Miu, and Donna Karan. The centre part also seems to be making a comeback. Consider leaving your hair down and natural if you’re having a casual, outdoor ceremony.
